Engaging Thunder Bay to Enhance Safety

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay is speaking up at the 2014 Community Gatherings at the Blue Sky Community Healing Centre at 512 Victoria Avenue East.

Community members have gathered at Blue Sky Monday and will gather again on Wednesday, March 5th from 2:30PM to 17:30PM to discuss how can the Thunder Bay community care in ways that reduce harm for those who experience challenges in substance abuse.

The session is hosted at Blue Sky with an eye to gathering a plan of action to present to the community.

Thunder Bay Mayor Keith Hobbs states that the community’s silent majority is starting to speak out about the issues that really matter to them.

The meetings were engaging, and the attendees enjoyed lunch courtesy of Jim Stadley and the team at Eat Local Pizza.
