MILWAUKEE, Wis. – SPORTS The Thunder Bay Bay Sportop midget AA Queens dropped a 3-0 decision to the Shaftesbury Prep Titans of Winnipeg Saturday evening in round robin play of the Tier 1 – 2 Nations Elite Showcase event being held in Milwaukee, Wis.
Tory Micklash turned aside all 24 shots she faced to post the shutout for the Titans.
Sydney Isbell stopped 18 of the 21 attempts she saw in a losing cause for the Queens.
Despite the setback Thunder Bay still finished with the best overall winning percentage in the overall standings and will take on the same Shaftesbury Prep squad Sunday for the Elite League championship back in Milwaukee at 12:30PM ET.
