THUNDER BAY – Former Thunder Bay MPP and Ontario Liberal Leader Lyn McLeod is about to be honoured for her many years of service to Ontario. Sources tell NNL that McLeod will be honoured in Toronto on Thursday with the Order of Ontario.

McLeod was in Thunder Bay today speaking to an audience of women about the importance of getting involved in politics.

The Order of Ontario is the province’s highest official honour. It recognizes any current or former long-time resident of Ontario who has demonstrated a high level of individual excellence and achievement in any field benefiting the people of Ontario or anywhere in the world.

The ceremony will be live streamed by the Ontario Government.
