THUNDER BAY – Sports – The men’s basketball team is in action over the holidays, visiting Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Center for three non-conference games from December 28-30, as part of the Ryerson University National Invitational Tournament (RUNIT).

The men’s schedule features games against the University of Quebec Montreal Citadins (UQAM) and the Laval Rouge et Or of the Quebec conference, and the Sheridan Bruins of the Canadian Collegiate league. The format of the tournament won’t crown an official champion, instead acting as a 9-game holiday basketball showcase.

Coach Matt Erdman states, “After a long break, it’s great to be back together and playing games again. This tournament gives us an opportunity to continue to build toward the second half of conference play.”
