FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATION – The Weather advisory is calling for more rain. Therefore to mitigate risk and ensure safety we have implemented immediate evacuation for high priority areas and individuals.

Fort William First Nation Evacuation

LOCATION OF HIGH RISK FLOOD AREAS INCLUDES FOLLOWING ROAD CLOSURES BETWEEN CHIPPEWA RD THROUGH TO HALFWAY PIT. 

FWFN busses are currently on rout to pick up Stage 1 evacuees which includes Elderly, Children two and under, people who require medical attention; and those who are sick. We also encourage others to relocate to family and friends who can provide adequate shelter and amenities.
