Sault Ste Marie PoliceSAULT STE MARIE – Crime – Sault Ste Marie Police report that “A 13 year old male was charged by City Police on March 19th for Mischief. It is alleged he punched a hole in a wall in a west end group home he was residing in. He was subsequently released back to the group home.”  However, a few hours later Police were called back to the residence for a disturbance. The same youth was arrested for mischief, assault and breaching a condition of his release order which he was released on a few hours earlier.

It is alleged he damaged some property of the residence, threatened to assault a female worker and was not abiding by the rules of the home. He appeared in Bail Court.

A 17 year old male was also charged by City Police last night and charged with Mischief and breaching a Youth Court Probation order. It is alleged he did some damage in his parental home and also breached his condition to not molest, harass or annoy his parents. He will be appearing in Youth Court on April 23rd.

20 year old Kimberly Robinson of Batchewana Bay Ontario was arrested by City Police officers on March 19th on 6 charges. It is alleged Miss Robinson attempted to steal car stereo items from the Wal-Mart on Bay Street but was apprehended by store security. Upon further investigation she was found to be in possession of Oxcycodone and Seroquel. Her probation order had conditions for her to not possess any drugs. As a result she was charged with theft, possession of a narcotic, breaching her probation and another Fraud charge stemming from an earlier incident where it is alleged she tried to return property to Wal-Mart and collect money for items she never had originally purchased. She is scheduled for Bail Court.

City Police arrested 22 year old Michael Gingras of Goulais River on the 19th of March and charged with the same offences as Kimberly Robinson relating to the theft charges from Wal-Mart. Mr. Gingras was also in possession of some cocaine and on probation with a condition not to attend Wal-Mart. He was also wanted on a warrant for unlawfully at large. He will be appearing in Bail Court as well later today.
