THUNDER BAY – Environment – St. Patrick’s Day may be over, but there’s Green Drinks happening this Wednesday! The monthly gathering of Green Drinks Thunder Bay comes to Gargoyles this time, from 5 – 7 pm, right in the middle of Canada Water Week. Lots of environmental happenings this spring, so come out and catch up on all the new events and opportunities. Find out more about green drinks worldwide at www.greendrinks.org.

  • Great Lakes Need Great Friends, Council of Canadians – Thunder Bay Chapter Launch Event
    Tuesday March 19, 7-9pm, CLE Cardinal Room. Presentation by Lucie Lavoie and Dr. Ken Deacon on “Is our Lake Superior?”.Free admission.
  • Environmental Film Festival – Environmental Film Network
    March 20-24, Paramount Theatre – 24 South Court St.
    Opening film, “Occupy Love” at 7pm on March 20th with Director in attendance, followed by a Film Gala at Tony & Adams for movie attendees only. Admission to films is free as always, but donations are gratefully accepted and used to offset the costs of future films and festivals.   • “Saturn Returns” Public Viewing Night – Thunder Bay Observatory
