Sault Ste Marie PoliceSAULT STE MARIE – Crime – Sault Ste Marie Police report, “On March 5, 2013 at approximately 4:45 pm officers arrested a male age 42 on an outstanding warrant for charges of assault and sexual assault.  It is alleged that between February 28 and March 1, 2013 the accused assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the right shoulder and forcing the victim to the floor. The suspect then attempted to choke the victim.  Further it is alleged in the same time period the accused did force oral and anal intercourse upon the victim. 

The accused will appear in bail court on March 6, 2013 at 10:00AM.

Sault Ste Marie Crime Report

On March 4, 2013 at approximately 7:28PM a female accused age 41, went to the residence of her ex-husband. At that time a verbal argument ensued regarding cigarette tobacco. The argument escalated to the point where the accused punched the victim in the face twice. This caused damage to the victim’s bottom teeth.  

The accused was arrest for assault.  The accused will appear in bail court on March 5, 2013 at 10:00AM.

On March 5, 2013 at approximately 03:30AM officers pulled a vehicle over on North Street for a traffic violation.  During the stop a female came out of the residence and approached the police cruiser. A check of the female revealed an outstanding warrant from 2012. 

The accused, Julie Patricia Kelly age 29 of 226 Tilley Road was arrested for theft under $5000. 

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on April 8, 2013 at 9:00AM.

Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes (Thefts, Mischief Reports, etc.): 

On March 4, 2013 between 12:30PM and 5:30PM a break and enter occurred in the 40 block of White Oak Drive. The back door of the residence was kicked in, and a laptop computer was taken.

On March 5, 2013 between 1:15PM and 10:20PM a residence in the 100 block of Walnut Street was entered by forcing a side door.  Jewelry, coins and an LCD television was taken.
