Thunder Bay ChillTHUNDER BAY – Sports – The Thunder Bay Chill 2013 PDL Schedule has been released  The 2013 PDL schedule and league alignment was released today by the league today in Tampa, Florida.  There will be 455 regular season games played, with each team playing 14 games.

The league consists of 65 teams throughout North America (including a team in Bermuda), with four new teams joining the loop for 2013, including the New York Magic – F.A. Euro, Real Boston Rams, the SW Florida Adrenaline and a franchise in Oklahoma City.

There were no changes to the alignment for the Heartland Division within which the Thunder Bay Chill competes.  The division will still consist of 7 teams including the Des Moines Menace (who have gone through a general manager and coaching change since the end of last season), the Kansas City Brass, Real Colorado Foxes, Springfield Demize, St. Louis Lions, and WSA Winnipeg.

The Chill will start the season on the road against WSA Winnipeg on Saturday May 25thand Sunday May 26th.  Des Moines travels to Thunder Bay for the Chill’s league home opener on Saturday June 1st.  The Chill continue their home stance on Friday June 7th and Saturday June against the St. Louis Lions before hitting the road again the following weekend for a pair of games in Des Moines.

Springfield makes a return to Thunder Bay after a one year absence for a couple of games on June 21st and 22nd.  Thunder Bay then hits the road for the annual Missouri road trip playing the Demize on June 29th, St. Louis on June 30th, and Kansas City on July 2nd.  The regular season ends at home when WSA Winnipeg travels to Thunder Bay for a pair of games on July 19th and 20th.
