First General Services Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – Business News – First General Thunder Bay today formally announces the addition of several new Team Members. A new business structure led by three additional seasoned Team Members will guide the company towards continual improvement.

Taras Sawula, CA, has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer & General Manager. The appointment builds on Sawula’s success during his 18 years tenure at the Buchanan Group in Thunder Bay, where he worked as part of the senior management team.

Tim Leggett has been named to the new position of Emergency Project Manager and will lead all emergency projects including management of the Emergency Team, Structural Drying, Fleet Maintenance, Content Cleaning and Inventory Management.

Michelle Turner, a certified Paralegal, with a background in Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance sales, has accepted the new position of Claims Coordinator. Turner will ensure effective communications between customers and insurance companies as well as ensure all performance targets are met.

“These new appointments and related organizational changes will position First General Thunder Bay to compete even better in the growing and competitive damage restoration marketplace,” said Frank Mirabelli, General Manager, First General Canada. “With strong business leadership and technical savvy right here in Thunder Bay, we can move our business forward aggressively, and accelerate our core values of always delivering exceptional service to our customers.”

Frank Mirabelli has accepted the position as General Manager for First General Canada. Frank will work out of the Thunder Bay office, monitoring the performance of the Thunder Bay office as well as all offices across Canada.
