THUNDER BAY -Chief Theresa Spence has not been rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.  The rumour mill around Idle No More and Chief Theresa Spence is starting to swirl around rapidly. Earlier this evening rumours starting circulating online that Chief Theresa Spence had been rushed into hospital with a cardiac arrest.

That is not true. Apischi Kihiwikwan Iskwew reports, “Rumors are circulating that Chief Spence went into cardiac arrest and is being rushed to the hospital. This is NOT true! She is sitting beside me and wants you all to know she is FINE – do NOT worry about her. Until you hear official information from myself or anybody from our team – do not pay attention any rumors. They are most likely being created to derail her strike”.

Earlier today there were reports of a Twitter Account attributed to Chief Spence about blocking the border on January 5 2013. Once again that is not a true account related to Chief Spence.

The degree of rumours starting to swirl around the Idle No More grassroots movement and Chief Spence are growing.
