NNLCRIMEbeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police responded to a report of an impaired male driving a quad westbound on Poleline Road on Saturday, September 8th, 2012. At approximately 7:45PMEDT, Officers arrived at the corner of Poleline Road and Centre Street and located the driver of the quad.

The driver not wearing a helmet, and had flipped the vehicle near this intersection. He was not injured in the incident.

Officers placed the 21-year-old male under arrest, and escorted him to the Balmoral Police Station.

The suspect was charged with:

  • Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Drive Disqualified
  • Breach of Probation

He was released with a future court date.
