Thunder Bay Police Service are investigating a hit and run accident

NNLCRIMEbeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – The Thunder Bay Police Service are investigating a hit and run accident and are seeking help from the public. Police report, on Sunday night at around 9:56PM, there was an auto/pedestrian accident which occurred in front of Wendy’s Restaurant on Memorial Ave.

Witnesses state that a male was laying on Memorial Ave between the two southbound lanes when a large vehicle ran over the male’s legs. The vehicle did not remain at then scene of the accident and was last seen heading south towards the Harbour Expressway.

The only description of the suspect vehicle is possibly a large SUV or pickup truck. The 48 year old local man was taken to TBRH with non-life-threatening injuries.
