Government Offices at Mini Queens Park Damaged by Vandals

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Just after 9:30PM last night, Thunder Bay Police responded to a report of people damaging offices in the Government building at Mini Queen’s Park at 435 S. James Street in Thunder Bay.

When uniformed officers arrived, they observed suspects inside one of the offices trying to break the large windows by kicking at them.

Once police officers were seen by the suspects they fled from the building. One suspect was arrested by officers and the other suspect(s) got away.

The offices in the building suffered approximately $10-15000 worth of damage to computers, televisions, furniture and other office equipment.

The one adult male is in custody for the break and enter and will be attending court later today. The investigation is continuing to apprehend the other suspect(s).
