Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police arrest male in assault incident

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police Service reports, “At 5:00 a.m. on Sunday morning , Thunder Bay Police officers attended the Landmark Inn on the request of hotel security about a disturbance in one of the rooms. Officers arrived to find a 27 year old female victim in the lobby that required medical attention for injuries she recieved from being assaulted”.

Officers attended the room where the altercation took place and arrested a 29 year old male without incident. He has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and will appear in court today.

The victim and accused were known to each other.

The victim was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center for treatment. She has since been released.
