Santa Claus Set to Charm the Waterfront District on Saturday!

Santa ClausTHUNDER BAY – Christmas is coming early to the Waterfront District. This Saturday, Santa Claus will be coming to downtown for the Christmas in the Waterfront event. Presented by the Waterfront District BIA, Christmas in the Waterfront will feature merry activities including two holiday movies, Christmas crafts, face painting and even a visit from Santa at the Paramount Theatre, and Wiggles & Giggles on Court Street. Children will also have the chance to play in the Wiggles & Giggles area and ride a horse and buggy through the Waterfront District.

Suzan Cooper Rochon, Chair of the Waterfront District BIA says; “The Waterfront District has so much to offer this holiday season. This event is a great opportunity to have some festive fun with the family while shopping downtown. Many of our stores will be offering special shopping discounts and promotions in conjunction with this event. We want to remind the community that the Waterfront District is a great place to shop, dine and play every season.”

One of this year’s key highlights will be a special Breakfast with Santa from 10am-11am only at Wiggles and Giggles in the Paramount Theatre. Visitors to the Christmas in the Waterfront event are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item and a portion of all the proceeds will be donated to the Dew Drop Inn.

Christmas in the Waterfront will take place on Saturday December 10th, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Admission is only $3 and tickets are available at a variety of businesses including Wiggles & Giggles, Rooster’s Bistro, Kitty Cucumber Children’s Boutique, Curl up n’ Dye family hair salon and J.B. Evans.
