Loch Lomond reports Open for Skiing and Snowboarding on Saturday

THUNDER BAY – Its a sure sign winter is really here. Loch Lomond reports that they will be open for skiing and snowboarding on Saturday December 10 and Sunday December 11th from 9:30-4PM, South Side of the Mountain. Runs which will be open include Snoopy, Upper and Lower Sunbowl, Upper and Lower Pine and Cliff.

To start the park off for the season Loch states they will have, a jump on the cliff, two jumps in the park and one on the lower sunbowl. No rails as of yet.

Snowmaking has begun on the North Side and the Birch should open by next weekend.

Loch Lomond will be open seven days a week beginning Saturday December 17th, tubing will also begin on the 17th. Night skiing will begin Thursday December 22nd.

Mount Baldy has yet to update on their opening, as soon as that happens, we will add their reports.
