THUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Operation Impact is starting across Ontario. The OPP and police services across Canada are embarking on a nation-wide campaign over the Thanksgiving weekend to crackdown on impaired driving, seatbelt infractions and other dangerous activities on our roads.
The OPP will be incorporating updates to the public via Facebook and Twitter through this campaign.
It is the latest means of engaging the public in supporting police efforts at enforcement.
