expect changeTHUNDER BAY – NetNewsledger is on the move, and we are in the process of re-branding our news / social media gateway. We have called upon our friends at the Urban Boutique to leverage their online marketing, and technical expertise to further enhance the NNL experience. Brett Malinowski from the Urban Boutique is the key technical contributor and adviser to the re-branding of NNL.

Phase One consists of improving speed, adding features to enable you to share news with your friends, and improvements in the key word search pop up window. Many of those changes are already in place, some are still being done.

Phase Two which we are very excited about is coming shortly, and it will be a complete facelift for NNL.

Our goal is to continue to offer positive ideas, and constructive commentary. Our goal is to offer you ideas, and news from a variety of points of view.

As we continue to grow, we want to continue to expand our coverage of news though provoking editorials, live-streaming events, and keeping a pulse on all the arts and entertainment news. Our coming look will offer you more access to information.

As we head toward October’s provincial election, all of the candidates will be invited to share with you, their views on the issues that they and their party see as most critical in our city, region and province. Candidate’s Ledgers can run as frequently, or not as the candidate chooses.

We are also in the process of re-defining our facebook marketings strategies going to boost our use of social media. That is something that only makes sense. After all, in Thunder Bay on Facebook alone there are over 70,000 people using that social media giant.

Additionally, we are working to expand our entertainment coverage, partnered with the Urban Boutique’s Multi-Media Group (MMG). The MMG offers you some of the best insight into the local scene. Our goal with entertainment news is simple, we want to make sure you never feel the morning after that you wish you had heard about the show you should have gone to. We will continue to share with you what is hot, and up and coming.

Thanks for your on-going support and we are excited to be showcasing our new look very shortly.

Stay tuned for our official re-branding launch.
