Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – The election campaign is running into the home stretch. So, who should you vote for? While some news outlets offer their endorsement or predictions on who they feel should win, or why one candidate or another deserves your vote, NNL will not.

As a voter, one of the tasks is for you to become informed about the issues, and which candidates you feel should be the ones who you believe should represent you.

There is more information out there on all of the various candidates for Mayor, City Council and the School Boards that you should be looking at and reading.

Take some time this weekend to review the Leader’s Ledgers, the Candidate’s Ledgers, and the websites of the candidates. Make sure you are making an informed choice.

Why?

Very simply put because it is your job.

As a resident and eligible voter in Thunder Bay you are the “boss” when it comes to deciding how our civic government is run. It is up to you to decide if you are satified, or unhappy with your employees.

That’s right, employees. Each member of city Council, or the school boards work for you. They are your voices for your concerns.

Most of the candidates seeking re-election, or election to represent you have been working hard to get their word out there. Some appear content to rest on their record. But at the end of the day, as you make your mark on the ballot, you are making your choices as to what the future of our community will be.

It is all in your hands. Please get out and vote.
