NAN Delegation to Meet With Queen Elizabeth II

THUNDER BAY, ON: Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) Grand Chief Stan Beardy together with the NAN Chiefs of Sandy Lake, Koocheching and Pikangikum First Nations will have the honour to meet Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II tomorrow.
The visit with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II comes as the NAN Chiefs of Sandy Lake, Koocheching, Pikangikum, Deer Lake, Keewaywin, Poplar Hill and North Spirit Lake First Nations commemorate the 100 year signing of the adhesion to Treaty No. 5 – with the British Crown on June 9, 1910.
