Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – Onward and upward! That is the ranking for the City of Thunder Bay in Moneysense Magazine’s annual ranking of the top cities to live in Canada. In 2009, the city was ranked as the 36th best place in Canada to live.

That ranking has climbed to 24th in 2010.

“Regardless of anyone’s views on the ranking criteria, as long as they are consistent it
shows that Thunder Bay is progressing and well on its way to be in the top 10 within 5 years,” shares Councillor at Large Frank Pullia.

In 2007, Thunder Bay was ranked at 54th.

The changes in the city’s rank likely represent some of the changes coming together over the past five years in Thunder Bay.
